Vakkanjers
Through the Vakkanjers educational program, students discover their technical talents by working on realistic assignments. The organization kicked off its 25th anniversary with a spectacular launch event at Space Expo.
Commissioned by the Association of Space Explorers (ASE), students from the seventh grade of primary school through the fourth year of secondary school took on the challenge of improving life on Earth using space technologies. During the launch, the students immediately dove into their first brainstorming session. Astronaut André Kuipers was also present to answer questions and share his experiences. The official start of the anniversary year was marked by Queen Máxima, who pressed the launch button together with four students.
