The Netherlands will host the NATO Summit on 24 and 25 June 2025. Space Expo will remain open as usual from Tuesday to Sunday during this period, however please be aware of traffic measures that may affect access to Noordwijk and Space Expo.
Traffic measures
22 – 26 June
From Sunday afternoon 22 June through Thursday 26 June, (significant) traffic disruptions are expected due to (temporary and partial) closures of the A5, A4, A44 and N44 motorways. Disruptions are also expected on regional and local roads in and around The Hague, Wassenaar, Katwijk, Noordwijk, Haarlemmermeer, Leiden, and Rotterdam. There will be short traffic stops on the N206 between the A44 junction and Noordwijk during this period.
Noordwijk remains accessible, but please allow for extra travel time, detours and possible traffic jams. We therefore recommend travelling by bicycle or public transport whenever possible, or planning extra travel time.
For more information about accessibility, visit the municipality of Noordwijk’s website, or check alternative routes on www.vananaarbeter.nl.
27 June
By Friday 27 June, the worst of the traffic disruptions will be over. However, some road closures and short traffic stops may still occur, particularly on the N206 between Leiden and Noordwijk. We recommend checking your route in advance at www.vananaarbeter.nl.
