Christmas holidays at Space Expo
Visit Space Expo during the Christmas holidays (December 20 to January 4) and learn all about meteorites and comets!

Mysterious Meteorites & Boiling Comets Show
Space is filled with all sorts of things: chunks of rock, metal and even ice. These objects come in all shapes and sizes - from tiny to gigantic and from far away to surprisingly close! During our "Mysterious Meteorites & Boiling Comets" show, our enthusiastic guides will tell you everything you need to know. We’ll wrap up the show with a spectacular demonstration: we’ll create a "boiling" comet live using dry ice. You really don't want to miss this!
- For explorers aged 6 and up.
- The presentation is in Dutch.
- The show lasts 30 minutes and runs 3 or 4 times a day at various times. You can find the schedule as soon as you enter the museum.
- You can attend the program for free without a reservation (subject to availability) by showing your Space Expo tickets.
- From December 20 to January 4. Please note: Space Expo is closed on December 25 and January 1. The museum closes at 3:00 PM on December 24 and 31.
Meteorite Consultation Hour
Do you think you’ve found a meteorite? Come to Space Expo on December 30 and have your discovery examined by meteorite expert Sebastiaan de Vet! Sebastiaan works at TU Delft and is a true expert when it comes to rocks and landscapes within our solar system. He can use various tests to determine if your discovery really came from space!
- December 30 between 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM.
- You can attend the consultation hour for free without an extra reservation by showing your Space Expo ticket.
- The consultation hour takes place in the middle of the museum. Our staff will be happy to show you the way.
