All donations are assessed in accordance with our collection policy. Please note that Space Expo does not have an acquisition budget.
Library
Since May 2026, the ESA ESTEC scientific library and Space Expo’s book collection have been combined into one extensive spaceflight library. With more than 6,000 books on space exploration, engineering, science, and astronomy, the collection offers a unique resource for enthusiasts, students, and researchers.
From autumn 2026, the complete catalogue will be available online. The books can be consulted at Space Expo during opening hours.

Scrapbooks
Space Expo holds an extensive collection of scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, articles, and documentation on the history of space exploration. This collection provides a unique insight into how space-related news has been followed and documented over the years.
We are currently digitising this collection to make it more accessible for research and future use. As our collection already includes a large number of scrapbooks, we are not accepting additional scrapbook donations at this time.
