This year, we have again been chosen by children as one of the 55 most child-friendly museums in the Netherlands. The Museum Inspectors, children up to 12 years old, gave our museum a rating of 8.49. We are super proud of the final result!

Museumkids.nl is an initiative of the Museum Association for children up to 12 years old. The goal is to let children experience what they can discover in Dutch museums, both online and offline.
How do you become Kidsproof?
Museum inspectors are children up to 12 years old who visit museums. As a Museum Inspector, you can rate a museum during and after your visit. By filling in questions like, “How many stars does this museum get from you?”, “What would you do if you could be the boss of this museum?” the museum gets a score. From the scores of an entire season, the Kidsproof museums emerge. A Kidsproof museum is rated by children with at least four stars. Kidsproof museums are therefore a guaranteed interesting museum visit for families.
Valuable feedback
The ratings given by Museum Inspectors from around the country reveal what they thought of the activities, whether they learned something new, whether the staff were nice and what they themselves would change about the museum. The museum can use this valuable feedback to develop even more engaging programs and improve services.
